A Genaya site is a description rendered by one renderer, not a folder of files you maintain - which is why every site is fast, accessible and safe by construction. Dashboard > Code is the window into what that renderer produces, for the curious, for a developer who wants to see the markup, and for anyone who wants a copy.

The file tree
Grouped as pages/, styles/, site/ and assets/: pages/<slug>.html - each page exactly as rendered for a visitor; styles/site.css - the site's stylesheet from its theme; site.json - the site description (pages, sections, theme, navigation, search settings) with nothing private in it; sitemap.xml and robots.txt as served; the assets list - the photos the pages use, from the site's own image pool (the build's free-library and Genaya AI pictures) and from your Files.
The viewer
Read-only, with syntax highlighting and line numbers; its head names the file, the line count and the size, and a "formatted" chip when the renderer's one-line markup was spaced out for reading (Copy and the zip keep the bytes as served). The Code | Split view switch puts the renderer's own preview beside the code - an HTML file shows its page. Copy copies the open file; an image shows as a picture with its size and alt text.
Download zip
Every file in one archive (the button counts the files while it builds). Opening a file and the zip are on the Pro plan and above: the trial and the Individual plan see the file tree and the card "Viewing and downloading the code is available on the Pro plan and above." with a View plans button.
infoRead-only by design. A site is data rendered by one renderer, so there is no code to edit here: edits go through the editor (press Edit in the top bar, or the Page settings gear in the page dropdown) or a Genaya AI chat (the look - colors, fonts, corners - is changed by asking Genaya or in Edit mode). What you download is yours to keep or host elsewhere; a site published on genaya.site keeps its badge and its Report link as the publish terms describe.
