- Appear in Google (the site)
- The switch under General on Dashboard > Settings (Dashboard > Overview reads it back as Search engines: May index or Asked to skip). On for published sites by default; off marks every page no-index and the site reads Unlisted. Drafts and the private preview link are always marked no-index, and so are the generated Privacy, Terms and Policies pages.
- Appear in Google (this page)
- Each page has its own switch in Page settings - the gear at the end of the page's row in the top bar's page dropdown. Off keeps that one page out of search and out of the sitemap - a landing page you only send by campaign, a page for a promotion - while the rest of the site stays listed. It takes effect on the next Publish.
- Titles and descriptions
- Each page carries a search title and description. Genaya AI writes them from your business; edit them in Page settings (the gear next to the page in the top bar's page dropdown), or under Dashboard > Settings for the site-wide default.
- The sitemap
- Served automatically at your public link and lists only the pages allowed to appear. There is nothing for you to submit: the moment a site goes live Genaya lists it in the genaya.site sitemap index, submits its sitemap to Google through Genaya's own verified Search Console property, and tells Bing, Yandex, Naver, Seznam and Yep through IndexNow - again on every publish, unpublish, rewind and when your own domain goes live. Search engines are told within minutes; Google usually lists a new site within days.
- How long it takes
- Days, sometimes a couple of weeks for a brand-new address. A renamed link redirects for 30 days so rankings move with it.
