How Genaya AI agents work

Think of an agent as a member of your team who only does the one thing you wrote down. A lead follow-up agent texts a new lead within a few minutes and again the next morning; a missed-call agent texts the caller back; a collections agent reminds a client about an invoice that is past due. Each one is a saved job with three parts: what it is for, which actions it may use and when it runs.

Runs as you
An agent has no permissions of its own. It uses yours, checked again on every run. If your role loses a permission, the agent loses it in the same minute; if you leave the organization, the agent pauses.
Triggers
A schedule (every morning at 8, every Monday) or an event: a new lead, a missed call, an appointment marked Done, an invoice past due. One agent can have several.
Autonomy
Ask (every action is a card you confirm), Auto safe (safe changes run, anything that sends or spends waits) or Auto (runs what your own autonomy setting allows). Sends and money never run without a standing approval you gave by typing the agent's name.
Caps
Each agent has a daily ceiling on runs and on messages it may send; the organization has one too. When a cap is reached the agent waits for tomorrow and says so in its transcript.
Transcript
Every run writes what it read, what it decided and what it did, in plain sentences, on the agent's page. Nothing runs silently.
infoWho can do what: Agents under Genaya AI (owners and admins by default) opens the gallery, turns an agent on, pauses it and answers its approvals. The organization's Agents on switch under Settings > Genaya AI can stop every agent at once.
warningPlans: 1 active agent on the free trial (20 runs in total while on the trial), 2 on Individual, 5 on Pro, 15 on Business, unlimited on Enterprise. A paused agent does not count.
