How to delete a website and the trash

  1. 1
    Open the site

In Marketing -> Websites click the site, then choose Delete website in the top bar's three-dot menu - or switch to Dashboard, open Settings and use the Danger zone at the bottom. Deleting needs the Websites delete permission (admins and managers by default).

  2. 2
    Confirm

The confirm card names the site and its public link. The site leaves the Websites list, the public link shows a neutral "not available" page, and the draft, its pages and its versions move to the trash together.

  3. 3
    Restore within 30 days

The trash icon at the top of the Websites list opens Recently deleted - every site still in the trash with the days it has left; the phone has the same icon on its Websites tab. Restore (the Websites edit permission) brings it back in one tap - drafts, versions, its own forms and booking pages, its tables and records and the public link come back as they were. A site that was live goes back online when its published version is still there; otherwise it comes back as a draft to publish again. After 30 days the site is purged and the link is released.

infoDeleting a site never deletes business records: the "<Site> - Website" lead table and its leads, the appointments the booking page created, payments and invoices all stay where your team works. Take offline (in the three-dot menu next to Publish on a live site) keeps the site but takes it off its public link, if that is what you meant.
