Because a Genaya site is a description rather than code, restoring an older version cannot fail to compile. Rewind points the live site at an earlier snapshot and copies its pages back into your draft, so you can keep editing from there.

  1. 1
    Open Versions

Open the site and choose Versions in the top bar's three-dot menu. Each row is one Publish: the number, when, who published it and how many pages it had.

  2. 2
    Rewind

Click Rewind on the version you want. The confirm card names the version; the live site switches within a minute and the draft matches it.

Versions - one row per Publish, Rewind on each.
  3. 3
    Undo a rewind

A rewind is itself an action with a 15-minute Undo, and the version you left is still in the list.

lightbulbGenaya AI can do it for you: "rewind my website to the previous version" shows the same confirm card. Rewind needs the Websites publish permission.
