Start from Operations -> Companies -> Form a company. The order is one guided flow, and you can leave and come back - nothing is lost until you submit.
Business Formation is part of Operations on every plan, including the free trial - there is nothing to switch on. Open Operations > Business Filings and use the Form a company button; the same page lists every filing and the State Compliance tab. The Companies page itself stays a plain list of your companies.
Pick LLC, the state you are forming in, and a package (LLC filing, LLC filing + EIN, or LLC Complete). Genaya shows a live quote with that state's filing fee and typical processing time before you continue.
Enter the legal name (it must end with LLC, L.L.C., or Limited Liability Company), up to 3 alternative names in case the state rejects the first, whether the LLC is member-managed or manager-managed, the principal address (a street address, not a PO Box), and a mailing address.
Add every Member or Managing Member - the LLC needs at least one - and pick one person as the primary contact for the order.
If your package includes an EIN, answer a short questionnaire in plain language - business category and purpose, reason for applying, expected employees, and the responsible party. This launch supports US owners with a Social Security Number; the SSN is sent once to the IRS and never stored by Genaya.
Confirm the contact who should hear from Genaya about this filing, and the Genaya company profile the LLC will use once it is created - name, logo, and contact info.
Review the itemized total - Genaya's service fee plus the state's filing fee, listed separately - and pay. Payment charges the organization's card on file; a bank 3D Secure challenge may appear, and prepaid cards are not accepted.
The Genaya company is created immediately with status Submitted. From there Genaya sends the filing to the state, and the state's acceptance, your EIN, and every document arrive automatically. Status milestones - acceptance, your EIN, and anything needing attention - trigger a bell notification and an email from compliance@genaya.com; the documents themselves land on the company's State Compliance page with a bell notification. See what happens after your LLC is approved for the full picture.
