Publishing to the world is the one moment a website can hurt someone - a visitor, your business or every other Genaya customer on the same domain. So Publish runs a short set of checks, in plain words below. Most sites pass in seconds.

CheckWhat it looks forWhat happens
LinksEvery outbound link and domain is checked against Google's Web Risk list (the list Chrome uses); published sites are re-checked nightly.A bad link blocks the publish with the link named.
ImpersonationBank, brand and government names, "verify your account" wording, login-lookalike layouts. The site waits for a human review.
Regulated claimsCure, guaranteed, risk-free, percentage returns, FDA approved, and the required disclaimers for clinics and advisers. The site waits for a human review; healthcare and finance sites never auto-publish - you type PUBLISH on the card.
CheckoutWhen the site takes payments - a deposit button, a store, or a booking page that collects a deposit: the business category against the card network's prohibited list, and a Policies page that covers refunds, cancellations and service or delivery terms.A missing Policies page, or one that leaves a topic out, blocks the publish with the fix named.
AccessibilityThe rendered draft is audited: alt text on every image, one H1 and headings in order, readable text contrast, labeled form fields.A score under 70 of 100 blocks the publish; the score and each fix show on the Fix these before the site can go live card.
ScreenshotThe renderer takes a screenshot of the home page.It becomes the link preview, the thumbnail in the Websites list and what a reviewer sees.
A flagged publish shows the reasons in plain language - and what to change.
Needs review
Publishing needs no approval: when the publish check finds nothing to fix, your site goes live at once. "Needs review" appears only in the rare case Genaya support has put a site on hold; you get an email with the reason and how to appeal.
Blocked
The site's Overview shows Fix these before the site can go live: each fix in plain words - a link, a missing Policies page, a claim - the Accessibility score out of 100 with its own fixes, then Edit pages and Run the check again. Nothing is public until the check passes.
Suspended
A site taken offline shows a neutral "not available" page to visitors, and any preview link you shared stops working at the same moment. You can still edit it and see it in the editor; publishing stays off until a reviewer clears it, and you can create a new preview link after that. The email you receive carries the reason and the appeal path.
Imported text
A build that read your old website or pasted text treats that text as untrusted content, and a site built from it never publishes on its own - you always confirm.
