Wait steps

Wait kindWhat it doesLimit
For a timeHolds the person for minutes, hours or daysUp to 180 days
Until a time of dayHolds until a chosen time on the weekdays you pick, in your organization's time zoneWeekdays you choose
Until a condition is trueHolds until something becomes true, like the invoice being paidA limit of up to 60 days

With Until a condition is true the person moves on the moment it is true, or when the limit passes, whichever comes first.

Conditional split

A conditional split has a Yes path and a No path. You choose the conditions. They can look at:

  • Facts about the contact, such as a contact property or a client tag
  • Engagement in this flow: opened the last email, clicked the last email, replied to a text
  • Whether the contact is on an audience
  • The record that started the flow, such as the invoice or the appointment
lightbulbThe record is read fresh at the moment the person reaches the split, not when they entered. A person who paid last night will not get today's reminder.

A/B test

An A/B test splits people at random using the percent you set, for example 50 and 50, so you can compare two versions of a message. Look at each message in the Analytics tab to see which one did better.

Editing a live flow

Changes apply to whatever people have left to do. If you delete the step someone is waiting on, that person leaves the flow. Pausing a flow keeps everyone where they are, and they continue after the same step when it goes live again.
