A good answer does not have to end when you close the chat. Pin it to Home to check it again tomorrow with fresh numbers, or send it straight to a teammate who needs to see it too - both live in the same place, the answer's More menu.

Pin an answer to Home

  1. 1
    Open the More menu

On a saved answer (not a live, still-streaming one), press the three dots under it and choose Pin to Home.

  2. 2
    Find it on Home

The Pinned answers widget on your Home dashboard shows the pin with the question, an "As of" time, and however it answered - text, a table, a card.

Pinned answers on Home - each pin re-checks its own numbers under your permissions.
  3. 3
    Unpin when you are done

Press Unpin from Home on the same More menu, or Unpin on the widget card itself.

infoUp to 12 pinned answers, and they are yours alone - nobody else on your team sees them. Each time you open Home, the pin quietly re-checks its own numbers under your permissions at that moment, so a pin never shows stale figures. If your role can no longer see that answer, the card says "You no longer have permission to see this answer." instead. A pin that was plain text (no table or card behind it) shows the saved words with an Ask again link, since there is nothing to re-check.

Send an answer to a teammate

  1. 1
    Open the More menu

Press the three dots under the answer and choose Send to a teammate.

  2. 2
    Pick who sees it

Search and pick up to 10 teammates, add an optional note up to 280 characters, then press Send.

  3. 3
They see it, and can keep going

Each recipient gets an Answer shared with you notification on the bell and, on the phone, the same notification there. It opens a read-only page with who shared it, your note, the question and the answer, plus a Continue in my own chat button that starts their own chat with the same question, answered fresh under their own permissions.

warningA recipient sees this answer exactly as you see it, including any numbers your role can see that theirs might not. Send to a teammate is hidden while support is viewing your workspace, and on a read-only shared chat.
