A connection is one assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code or Other) acting as you in one organization. You can see and revoke your own connections at any time; admins with the Manage everyone's assistant connections permission also control the organization-wide switch and every member's connections. Revoking is immediate: the very next call from that assistant is refused.

Your connections

On the web open Settings > Integrations > Use Genaya from ChatGPT and Claude; on the phone open Settings > Genaya AI > Connected assistants. Each row shows the assistant, the organization, what it may do (read, ask Genaya AI), when it was connected, when it was last used and with which tool, and how many days remain before it expires if unused. Revoke ends it; connecting again from the assistant creates a fresh connection.

Every connection and disconnection also arrives as an email and a bell notification.

How long a connection lives

  • A connection that is not used for 30 days expires on its own. Each use resets the clock, and the row shows the days remaining.
  • After the organization's reconnect interval (90 days by default; admins can set 7 to 365) the assistant asks you to sign in and allow again.
  • You can hold 1 connection per member on the free trial, 2 on Individual, 3 on Pro, and as many as you need on Business and Enterprise (up to 25 live connections per member).

What disconnects a connection automatically

For your safety, Genaya revokes connections on its own whenever your account changes in a way that could mean someone else holds it. You get an email each time, naming the reason:

  • You change or reset your password.
  • An admin deactivates or disables your account, or changes your role to an external role with no system access.
  • You are removed from the organization, or you switch organizations in a multi-organization account.
  • An admin turns external assistants off for the organization, or stops allowing that assistant.
  • The connection goes 30 days without use, or the reconnect interval is reached.
  • Genaya detects a reused connection token - the whole connection is revoked at once and you are emailed, because a reuse means a token may have leaked.
infoA nightly check sweeps for anything a live hook missed, so an expired or orphaned connection never lingers. An admin using "View As" can never connect, approve, confirm or revoke on your behalf.

The organization section (admins)

Admins with Manage everyone's assistant connections see an Organization section on the same page:

The organization controls: the master switch, allowed assistants and the reconnect interval.
Allow external assistants
The organization switch. On by default (off by default for healthcare organizations until acknowledged). Turning it off revokes every connection in the organization immediately.
Healthcare note
Healthcare organizations see the business associate agreement note and a checkbox; external assistants stay off until an admin acknowledges it.
Allowed assistants
ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code and Other. "Other" opens the door to apps that are not one of the three - they always appear as an unverified app on the consent screen with their address in bold, or as a client you created, "(set up by your organization)".
Allow texts and emails
Under Details. On by default. When on, members can tick "Prepare texts and emails you confirm on a Genaya page" at consent; when off, no assistant prepares a send for anyone in the organization. Turning it off stops new sends at the next call.
Clients for other assistants
Under Details. The client id and one-time secret an assistant that cannot register itself needs (Gemini Enterprise, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Slack, Salesforce), with Rotate, Revoke and last used - see "Create a client for an assistant".
Reconnect every
How old a connection may get before the member must sign in and allow again - 7 to 365 days, 90 by default.
Every member's connections
Grouped by member, with Revoke on each row, a link to Genaya AI Activity, and Disconnect everyone, which asks you to type a confirmation before it revokes every connection at once.

Seeing what an assistant asked

Every question from an assistant is saved as a conversation in your Genaya AI history in the app, marked with its source (ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code or Other) next to the title, so you can open it and read exactly what was asked and what Genaya AI answered. Each connection row also shows when it was last used and with which tool. Every change an assistant prepared and you confirmed is a row in Settings > Genaya AI > Activity (the ledger of Genaya AI actions), marked "via ChatGPT", "via Claude" or "via Claude Code", with its preview, its receipt and Undo for 15 minutes on record changes - see "What an assistant can do in Genaya".
