What is Business Formation and where to find it

Business Formation orders a real, state-filed LLC or corporation and then keeps it in good standing. You pick the state, entity type, and package, Genaya files with the state and pulls in the EIN and every document automatically, and the new company becomes a regular Genaya company from day one.

You will find it in two places: the Business Filings page under Operations (the Form a company button and, on its State Compliance tab, one card per company) and the File a business link at the top of Operations -> Companies. The Create and Edit Company page itself carries nothing legal - filings are separate from companies.

• Operations -> Companies -> Form a company - starts a new order for a brand new LLC or corporation.
• Operations -> Business Filings -> Filings tab - every order you have placed, its status, and its documents, with fix-and-resume for anything the state bounced back.
• Operations -> Business Filings -> State Compliance tab - per company: registered agent, annual report deadline, and one-click actions.
• Click a company on the State Compliance tab to open its own page with the same documents and actions, scoped to that one company.
