How to fix a filing that needs attention

Needs attention means the state - or Genaya's filing team reviewing it before submission - flagged something that has to be fixed before the filing can continue. The two most common causes are a name conflict and a bad address.

   Open the filing

   From Operations -> Business Filings -> Filings, open the order marked Needs attention.

   Read what is wrong

   Genaya states the specific issue - for example, that your legal name conflicts with an existing business, or the principal address is a PO Box.

   Fix the field

   Correct it directly in Genaya - a new legal name, or a real street address.

   The filing resumes

   Genaya sends the correction back to the state automatically. No new order and no new charge.
