A missed call is often a customer who will call someone else next. With call backs on, nobody waits for your team to find the time: a few minutes after the missed call, the receptionist calls them back.

What the person hears
The call comes from the number they called, so they know who it is. The receptionist says it is the automated assistant of your company, that it is returning their call, and asks how it can help. From there it works like any call: it answers questions, books, texts or transfers, as you set it up.
When it does not call back
The person already called again.
A teammate already called them back.
They already got a call back that day. If that call back did not reach them (no answer, busy or voicemail) and they miss you again, it tries one more time.
The number is blocked.
They asked not to be called.
infoIt only calls between 8am and 8pm in your organization's time zone. A missed call later than that is called back the next morning.
