How to ask Genaya about what is on your screen, and everything else it can answer
Ask Genaya opens over the page you are on. When your question is about that page, Genaya looks at it the way you do: the table with the rows on screen, the numbers and cards on top, the filters you set, the rows you selected, an open popup, and any words you highlighted. You do not have to describe the page or repeat the filters.
Ask about what you see
The list in front of you. "How many of these appointments are canceled?", "Which of these invoices is the oldest?", "Summarize this page."
One row. "Call the second one", "Open the third invoice", "Why is this one still pending?"
The rows you selected. Tick a few rows, then: "Total the selected ones", "Text the selected clients a reminder."
A number on the page. "What does this 267 count?", "Why is Total Sold lower than yesterday?"
Words you highlighted. Select any text on the page, then ask "what does this mean?"
infoIt depends on the question. Genaya looks at your screen only when you point at it - "these", "this list", "the second one", "the selected rows". "What is my revenue this month?" is answered from your records, whatever page is open.
What the screen shows, and what it does not
One page of a list. Genaya sees the rows that are on screen, with your filters. For a total over every page, or a longer period, it runs the numbers from your records with the same filters and tells you so.
Never what you type into a box, and never the pages that hold keys, bank or tax details, security or billing settings.
Only your own screen. Genaya sees what your role lets you open, exactly as it is drawn for you.
A change still asks first. When you ask Genaya to act on rows from your screen - text them, create invoices - you get a card to confirm, even in Auto mode.
On the phone the chat is its own screen, so there is no page behind it to read. Ask with the filter in words: "canceled appointments yesterday".
More of your business it can answer about
Automations. "Which automations are on?", "How many ran this week?", "Which one keeps failing, and why did it not send?", "What is scheduled to go out tomorrow?"
Marketing. "How many marketing contacts do I have?", "How many unsubscribed?", "Which campaign templates are ready?"
AI receptionist. "How many calls did the AI answer this week?", "How many appointments did it book?", "Which receptionists are paused?"
Calls. "Do I have missed calls today?" counts every call nobody picked up - missed, no answer, the caller hung up first, busy, or left the queue - the same list as the Missed tab in the Call Center. Voicemails are said next to it.
Outside phone systems and client emails. Calls synced from a connected phone system, and the emails exchanged with a client through a connected mailbox: how many, when the last one was, who wrote.
Rooms. "Which meetings were recorded?", "Is the recording ready?", "What follow-ups came out of my meetings this week?"
Payments. "Which payment links are unpaid?", "How much am I waiting on in links?", "Do I have open disputes?"
Tools. Chat widgets, e-sign templates, File Manager folders, signage screens ("which screens are offline?"), number pools ("which source drives the most calls?"), dialer sessions ("what is my connect rate?"), and when a team member is busy on their connected calendar.
It gives you the link
Ask for the link of something of yours and Genaya finds the record and gives you its address: the public link to share - a booking page, a form, a survey, your public profile and its leave-a-review page, a website and its connected domain, a payment link, a room's join link, a room event's booking link - and the page in Genaya for an appointment, a client, an invoice, an estimate, an expense, a note, a lead table, a task board, a conversation or an agent.
It learns your business on its own
Every night Genaya reads the day's conversations and keeps what is worth remembering about the business: the words you use ("we say jobs for appointments"), standing choices ("weeks start on Sunday") and lasting facts ("we serve New Jersey and Pennsylvania"). These are saved on their own and show in Settings > Genaya AI > Memory as "Learned from yesterday's conversations", where an admin can edit or forget any of them. It never saves a number from an answer, anything about one person, or a health detail. A rule for how answers are given, or a definition of how a number is counted, still waits for an admin to approve. Genaya also remembers how it answered your earlier questions, so a question you ask often gets faster and more consistent.
lightbulbHealthcare and finance workspaces keep review on for everything: nothing is learned without an admin's approval there.
