Send Genaya activity to the channel your team already watches: new leads, appointments, paid invoices, missed calls, form submissions and more. Slack and Microsoft Teams each get their own card on Settings -> Integrations -> Slack + Microsoft Teams, and each can post a different set of events.
Connect Slack
1
In Genaya, open Settings -> Integrations -> Slack + Microsoft Teams.
2
On the Slack card, click Connect Slack.
3
Slack opens. Pick your workspace if Slack asks, review what Genaya may do (post messages and see your public channel names) and click Allow.
4
Back in Genaya, choose a public channel, turn on Send notifications to Slack and pick All events or only the events you want.
5
Click Save, then Send test to see a message from @Genaya in that channel.
lightbulbGenaya can post to any public channel without being invited to it first. It only sends messages: it never reads the messages in your Slack workspace.
Connect Microsoft Teams
1
In Teams, add an incoming webhook to the channel you want and copy its URL.
2
In Genaya, open Settings -> Integrations -> Slack + Microsoft Teams and paste the URL in the Teams card.
3
Click Save webhook. Genaya posts a test message to check the URL works.
4
Turn on Send notifications to Teams, pick the events and click Save.
Disconnect
On the Slack card click the unlink icon (Disconnect Slack): Slack stops receiving messages at once and Genaya deletes its Slack sign-in. You can also remove the Genaya app from your workspace in Slack. On the Teams card click the unlink icon (Remove webhook). You can connect again any time.
