Rooms Sync brings your Zoom meetings into Genaya: every upcoming Zoom meeting on your own Zoom account shows on the Rooms page, marked with your name, with a one-click Join button - next to your Genaya rooms and the Google Meet and Microsoft Teams meetings from your connected calendar. Each team member connects their own Zoom account.

Adding Zoom

  1. 1
In Genaya, open Settings -> Integrations -> Rooms Sync.
  2. 2
On the Zoom card, click Connect Zoom.
  3. 3
Sign in to your Zoom account if Zoom asks, review the two permissions (view your meetings, view your user profile) and click Allow.
  4. 4
You land back on Rooms Sync with Zoom marked Connected. Your upcoming meetings appear on the Rooms page within 15 minutes.

Using it

Genaya checks your Zoom account for upcoming meetings every 15 minutes. Each meeting shows its title, start and end time and a Join button that opens it in Zoom. Genaya only reads your meetings - it never creates, changes or deletes anything in your Zoom account.

What Genaya keeps: the meeting title, start and end time, join link and Zoom meeting ID, visible only to people in your own Genaya workspace. Your Zoom sign-in is stored on Genaya's servers only and is never shown in the apps.

Removing Zoom

  1. 1
In Genaya: open Settings -> Integrations -> Rooms Sync and click Disconnect on the Zoom card.
  2. 2
Or in Zoom: sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace (marketplace.zoom.us), open Manage -> Added Apps, find Genaya and click Remove.

Either way Genaya stops reading your meetings right away, deletes your Zoom sign-in, and removes the Zoom meetings it was showing for you. You can connect again any time.
