An agent on a project is the same agent as anywhere else - a saved job Genaya AI runs as you - with one difference: it knows the project. On every run it reads the project's brief, the records inside it, the sources and the rules, so "the client" means the one in this project and a question that would leave the project answers the project's records first. The Morning brief and the Follow-ups agent, put on a project, read only that project's yesterday and today.
On the project page the Agents card sits after Members; its panel lists two groups, Working here (the agents on this project, each with its status word, its last run and how many cards need you) and Waiting for you (the cards those agents proposed for this project). The head carries one button, Add agent.
Press Add agent and choose One of my agents: a row opens inside the panel, type two letters, and the agents you run that are not on a project yet list right under the field. Enter adds the highlighted one; from its next run it works for this project. An agent already on another project has to be removed there first - an agent works for one project at a time.
Choose A ready-made agent and the panel slides to the gallery cards for your industry with a back arrow. Turn on lands on the same filled-in agent card the gallery would draft, in this project's chat, with the project already set; nothing turns on until you confirm it there.
The three dots on a row offer Run now, Pause (or Resume), Open agent and Remove from this project. Removing takes the agent off the project only: it keeps running as before, just without the project.
In the project's own chat, "add the Follow-ups agent to this project" or "make an agent for this project that reminds tomorrow's appointments" drafts the same card with the project already set, and "take the coordinator off this project" proposes the removal. Every one is a card you confirm, with Undo for 15 minutes.
Every run of a project agent starts with the project: its name and brief, the records inside it, the sources and the rules, read through your own permissions like everything else in Genaya AI. Its runs appear under the project's Activity in the Genaya AI did lane ("Follow-ups agent proposed 2 texts"), and its cards wait under Needs your decision on the project page as well as in the Approvals inbox. Its own chat stays yours: an agent reads records the way you do, so its chat shows what your role can see. Flip Share its chat with the project when you add it if the members should read it too (members will see this chat as you saw it, including numbers your role can see).
The tab needs two permissions: Use Genaya AI projects to open the project and Agents under Genaya AI to see and add agents. Without the second, the tab shows one sentence - "Agents are not turned on for your role. Ask an admin to add the Genaya AI agents permission." - and nothing else. An editor or the owner of the project adds agents; the member who turned an agent on can always remove it from the project; a viewer only reads.
